featured in Special Edition of Shore & Beach
In response to Hurricane
Isabel, Geodynamics performed various topographic
and bathymetric surveys of a breach created on Hatteras
Island. The data aquired through our unique mapping
strategy provided many research groups with critical
data to asses breach formation and closure. Read

gears up for NOAA Cruise aboard the Nancy
Foster to the Dry Tortugas |

Geodynamics
will perform multibeam surveys of 30 key sites
within the Dry Tortugas Ecological Preserve
for the NOAA Beaufort Lab in late September.
High-resolution seafloor imagery will be used
to study marine habitats and evolution.

Geodynamics mapped the
Queen Anne's Revenge with an EM3000 multibeam sonar
as a public service to the North Carolina Underwater
Archaeology Branch. Seafloor imagery to the left depicts
the main rubble mound and scour hole behind it. |
